Instructors |
| We strive to maintain a
cadre of well trained instructors. Whenever possible, instructors
are WSI certified. Intern instructors are also used when needed. Instructors are evaluated by our patrons and management staff regularly. The NK pool's expectation for swimming lessons is: #1-Safe, #2-Fun, and #3-Educational. The instructors are expected to be caring, supportive, enthusiastic, and encouraging. |

Lifeguards |
|
All
of our lifeguards are certified in First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer,
Lifeguarding, Automated External Defibrillation and Oxygen Administration
for the Professional Rescuer. We are currently training all of our
guards in Emergency Repsonse. The American Red Cross version of
first responder. Guards attend three hours of mandatory
inservice training every month. They are also periodically tested with surprise simulations
during regular work hours. |
